Hey everyone, welcome to the October edition of “What’s new in Tailwarden” where we take you downstream to cover highlights of our change-log, community and anything Tailwarden related. Read on to learn about everything that launched this month.

Product updates

Komiser reaches 2 million downloads

We're thrilled to announce that Komiser has been downloaded and deployed over two million times. Komiser is an open-source cloud agnostic environment inspector that helps developers uncover hidden costs, performance and security issues.

The project has rapidly grown in popularity as it enables any organization to connect their cloud accounts and build their own multi-cloud asset inventory.

In addition to our SaaS product, our open source product has a commitment to good design. We’ve spent the last few weeks talking with many users to learn about their product usage and their pain points. We’ve obsessively wanted to create a tool that looks good and is easy-to use.

In the upcoming days, we’re shipping Komiser v3 with a modern design and a consolidated cloud agnostic inventory page that pools all of your resources across accounts and providers. Allowing you to tag and create in-depth cross-sectioned cost breakdowns with filters and views.

In case you missed, here's a short recap:

Kudos to our community heroes of the month @AlleyOoP305 and @venkatreddyc from Infolob Solutions and @Manivannan and @swamy.ms  from Halodoc for their continuous feedback on how to improve Komiser.
